"Do Not Invest!"
I Invested with Grant Norwood (Norwood Energy) on October 2023, in the Western Expansion Program. Right off the bat the communication was not consistent and the drilling program was off to a slow start. I was informed that distributions would start in Nov 2024 with back pay, for previous months. After several attempts of trying to get information on my distribution and sending the Norwood team my new address 4 times I finally received my first distribution in March 2025. The live check was for February 2025 to the wrong address and forward to my new address, no more mention of my back pay for 2024. After several emails, text and phone calls I was getting nowhere on my back pay distribution, as a last ditch effort I drove to Dallas,Tx in May 2025 for a Real-Estate submit and requested to meet someone from the Norwood team to discuss my investment, I provided a week noticed. Grant Norwood could not meet with me so I requested anyone from the team to meet and discuss the status of my investment and the back pay I was informed I would receive, I didn't meet anyone to discuss my investment as no response was provided. 1 Week later I received a check with back pay after sending out an email letting the company know that I was seeking legal advice, I was still missing several months of back pay, the following month June 2025 I get a letter stating I owed money, the production was not enough to cover the maintenance expenses. I sent a check to cover the expenses, no more distributions have been sent out as of this writing, my ROI with this investment is .022%. Investors stay away from this company, if I could give this company a negative rating I would!
