Commitment to Trust, Integrity, and Fairness

At Invest Clearly, we are dedicated to upholding trust, integrity, and fairness in our community. As a fundamental principle, we strictly enforce a “no pay-for-play” policy, ensuring that reviews and ratings are based solely on genuine experiences and unbiased opinions. Our guidelines are designed to make our platform a reliable resource for potential Limited Partners (“LPs”) to review and evaluate General Partners (“Sponsors”). We may revise these guidelines periodically, with your use of Invest Clearly governed by the most current version on our website. Please also review our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Notice and Data & Content Usage Guidelines as they contain additional requirements and disclosures for the use of our site.

General Community Content Guidelines

By submitting content to Invest Clearly, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years old.
• For public content, you are the author or have the necessary permissions and grant Invest Clearly the license described in the Terms of Use. Any waiver of moral rights applies only to public content.
• You are responsible for content that you post, email, send in a Direct Message, or otherwise transmit through Invest Clearly.
• Public content may be viewed, used, republished, or distributed as described in the Terms of Use. Direct Messages are not public content.
• You will comply with the Federal Trade Commission’s Guides on the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.
• Your content does not:
  • Harm minors;
  • Provide inaccurate, misleading or false information;
  • Impersonate any person or entity;
  • Violate any laws or contractual obligations;
  • Contain computer viruses, worms, or other potentially damaging files; or
  • Contain unsolicited or unauthorized advertising.
• You will not engage in unauthorized use or alteration of site content.
• You will abide by our terms and community standards in all activities.

Sponsor Guidelines

• Sponsors on Invest Clearly are real estate General Partners (GPs) who are being reviewed on our platform.
• We encourage Sponsors to respond professionally when an LP initiates a conversation and to engage professionally through public review responses. Sponsors may not use Invest Clearly to initiate private contact with an LP.
• Sponsors may respond to reviews (both positive and negative) in a constructive manner. Responses should be professional, factual, and aimed at providing additional context or addressing specific points raised in the review.
• Sponsors may not offer any incentive for a review or attempt to manipulate ratings in any way.
• Sponsors may use our tools to collect reviews, but must do so responsibly and ethically. Review collection landing pages should only be shared in secure, Limited Partner environments to prevent fraudulent reviews.
• Sponsors may submit relationship evidence only when authorized to do so. They must not submit false, altered, or misleading evidence, impersonate an investor, create an account or review for an investor, direct the content or rating of a review, or pressure an investor to participate. A Sponsor invitation does not make a review mandatory.
• Public sharing of review requests is discouraged to maintain the integrity of our review system.
• Sponsors may use content from their Invest Clearly profile or reviews in their marketing materials, subject to our Content and Data Usage Guidelines. This includes:
  • Sharing aggregated ratings with proper attribution
  • Using earned Invest Clearly badges with appropriate backlinks
  • Quoting from reviews with proper citation and context
• Sponsors must not attempt to remove or alter negative reviews. Instead, we encourage addressing concerns professionally through the platform’s response feature.
• Any attempt to manipulate reviews or ratings may result in penalties, including but not limited to alerts on the Sponsor’s profile or suspension of account privileges.

Direct Messaging

• Use Direct Messaging for respectful communication.
• Do not use Direct Messaging for fraud, spam, harassment, impersonation, phishing, unlawful activity, secondary transaction services, or unsolicited promotion.
• Do not send wire instructions, bank or card details, passwords, authentication codes, government identification numbers, or other sensitive financial or identity information.
• Do not attempt to identify or reveal the identity of a person communicating under the Verified Investor label. If you communicate under that label and want to remain anonymous, do not include your name or other identifying information in your messages.
• Verify people, links, and instructions through a trusted channel before acting.

LP Guidelines

Authentic & Fair Reviews:

• Reviews should be balanced, realistic, and based on firsthand experience.
• Only review Sponsors with whom you have or had an investment relationship.
• Reviews from current or past employers or competitors are not allowed to maintain impartiality.
• Invest Clearly reviews relationship evidence under its limited Investor Verification Process and separately moderates each review for compliance with its content rules. Neither process verifies the review’s truth, accuracy, fairness, or completeness.

Community Participation:

• Use an authentic account identity and treat others with respect.
• Engage in meaningful and respectful community discussions.

Transparency and Compliance:

• Adherence to the Federal Trade Commission’s guidelines on online reviews is mandatory.
• Our algorithms for ratings and scores are based only on published reviews with an accepted investor verification status for the relationship between each review’s author and Sponsor, and public data, uniformly applied.

Objective and Unedited Content:

• Review content is kept unaltered, ensuring the authenticity of each reviewer’s voice.
• Ratings are free from subjective input or external influences. Sponsors cannot influence ratings, positions, or review visibility.

Review Editing and Rejection:

• Reviewers can update their submissions, subject to a second round of moderation.
• We reserve the right to reject reviews that do not meet our standards.

Incentives and Alerts:

• Attempts by Sponsors to manipulate reviews will result in alerts and potential actions.

Advertising Guidelines

Invest Clearly may accept third-party advertising on our site, which may include content, badges, banners, thumbnails, etc. We have sole discretion for determining which advertisements will be accepted and displayed on our site. However, the third-party advertiser is solely responsible for the accuracy and objectivity of its advertisement(s).

Under no circumstance will our acceptance of an advertisement be considered an endorsement of the third-party company or for their products or services. We will not knowingly accept advertising that we believe is not factually accurate. Additionally, there are certain products or services that we will not permit at any time:

• Illegal, objectionable or dangerous products as determined by Invest Clearly
• Alcohol
• Weapons, firearms, ammunition, fireworks
• Pornography
• Fraudulent, deceptive, illicit, offensive, or misleading material
• Tobacco
• Any material designed or intended to attract children under 13 years old.
