These guys are an excellent sponsor. I invested in one deal, which returned over 30% IRR and now have invested in others. They are subject matter experts & PATIENT! Unlike (most) other sponsors who do deals just do do deals (and accumulate fees), these guys wait for the right deals. This is critical. I look forward to doing more with them!
I was never left wondering how my money was being used or what the most recent project update was. I received constant communication regarding tailwinds and headwinds, which I appreciated. It's also clear that Matheson understands current/future value and places a heavy emphasis on basis because that is what protects you when the market takes a turn for the worse.
