I’ve had a very positive experience with InvestWise Collective. I’ve invested with them in a debt fund from a different sponsor, as well as an InvestWise Collective sponsored equity deal. What has stood out most to me is their approach to risk, communication and investor alignment. The debt fund was performing well, but when the sponsor stopped providing access to the loan tape, InvestWise made the decision to exit rather than continue without adequate visibility into the underlying loans. I appreciated them putting risk management and investor interests ahead of simply staying invested in a deal that was performing. I’m also invested in one of their equity deals, which reflects my overall confidence in the team. We’re still early in the project’s lifecycle, but it’s hitting milestones and performance / communication continue to meet and often exceed expectations.
