Bequest investments offer flexible income structures depending on the product you select — monthly interest payments, monthly compounding for long-term growth, or fixed amortized principal & interest payments. That said, redemptions (returning your full invested capital) may vary by offering and typically involve a minimum holding period and advance notice.

What kind of returns can I expect?

Targeted returns range from 5% to 9% annually, depending on the class selected — with monthly income, monthly compounding, or amortized principal & interest payment options available.

What happens if the investment doesn't perform as expected?

Bequest maintains internal and third-party audit and reporting oversight. While performance is never guaranteed, our agreements include full disclosures, and we maintain a conservative risk buffer to help protect investor capital.

What's happening with the income fund and legacy fund?

Our legacy Regulation D funds are closed to new investment and are currently undergoing an Operating Preferred Return (OPR) adjustment — a structural correction process being conducted in coordination with legal counsel and fund administration. We're committed to transparent, direct communication with legacy fund investors throughout this process.

Retired and happy

I retired two years ago and if I'm being honest, the thing that worried me most was watching my savings sit there while I tried to figure out how to actually live off of them. A friend told me about Bequest Asset Mgmt and it's turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made. The monthly interest payments come in right on schedule, every single moth, and at 67 that kind of predictability means everything. I can plan my budget, help with my grandson and not lose any sleep wondering what's coming in. Beyond the numbers though, the people are just wonderful and kind. Anytime I call with a question, they take the time to explain things in plain English and never makes me feel silly for asking. That's rare these days. I'd tell any of my friends who are retired or getting close - this is what working with a company that respects you actually feels like.

More Empty Promises

Update, 8/25/2026: On 8/14/2026, Bequest responded here stating, "Payments of Operating Preferred Return have now resumed." Eleven days later, we have received nothing further. Our capital came from the sale of a family business, invested specifically to generate income while our twins finish college. Bequest's own response above confirms our cash return to date stands at 0.6% against the 12% per annum rate we were promised in writing. Future investors deserve to know the distance between what Bequest states publicly and what actually reaches an investor's account.
