I always wanted to get my hands into the real estate market, but I just didn’t know how or where to start. It really wasn’t until I met Nick DiLeone, the managing partner at Leone Real Estate Partners, that I was able to get a deep enough understanding of what that market looks like. Nick is super knowledgeable. He was able to answer all my questions and was happy to walk me through all the opportunities that the world of real estate has to offer. I like to say I’m someone who likes to take risks, but I also like to make sure that I’m putting myself in the best position to win. After Nick explained to me in detail just how much time and resources go into each deal that they vet out for their investors, I felt comfortable enough to at least start a conversation with them and learn more about what investing with them looks like. I could tell right away that they really cared about building the right relationships. During our initial call, they took the time to understand my investing goals, my comfort levels, and what type of deals I was looking to invest in. Shortly after reviewing a few possibilities that made the most sense, we were actually able to secure a great opportunity together in a really short period of time. I’ve got to say it was a very seamless process working with Leone Real Estate Partners. You get a sense that you are part of something, and they work hard to put a professional touch on every transaction you do with them. They also host a ton of meetups, which is a really great way to meet the team in person, network with others, and learn from an array of smart leaders within the industry. It’s been almost five years now working with Nick and his team, and I can proudly say that I’ve partnered with them on several multi-unit properties, as well as a handful of RV locations. My investments have been performing very well. They are falling in line with the initial forecasts that were given to me, and I’ve got to say I’m very happy with the returns I’m seeing on my investments. To me, this really speaks volumes about the effort that the team puts in every day. I couldn’t be happier that I put my trust into Nick and his team. They are professional, really easy to work with, and super responsive. I never have to chase them down for anything, which I think is a great bonus. I have invested in nine Leone investments since the company was launched in 2020. I have known Nick since he was working for a large international real estate company Nuveen quite a few years ago. He’s one of the most astute real estate minds that I know, and as a result, I have invested in seven of their deals. I’ve been very impressed with his ability to source transactions in a very challenging market that deliver compelling value propositions and consistently generate above-forecast returns. He’s a great communicator, a thorough underwriter, a great asset manager, and perhaps most importantly, a great team leader.
