Hylee Capital reviews roughly 30 private real estate and alternative investment opportunities each year. Typically, only 4-6 make it to our investors.
We look closely at the underwriting, capital stack, debt, downside scenarios, and the people behind each deal, including background and litigation checks. We've walked away from opportunities backed by some of the biggest names in the industry when the individual deal didn't hold up.
When we do move forward, pooling our investors' capital gives us more buying power. We've accessed $1M-minimum investments at $100K or $250K, and negotiated better terms for our investors where available.
Transparency continues after an investment is made. We disclose how Hylee gets paid on every deal, keep investors updated on a consistent schedule, and pass along every sponsor report we receive. Investors also have direct access to Sarah throughout the life of their investment.
Today, more than 100 investors partner with Hylee across private real estate, private credit and energy. We're not tied to one sponsor or one strategy, which allows us to look across opportunities and be selective about what we bring forward.
We see a lot of opportunities, but only a small number are ones we're comfortable bringing to our investors.
