I invested in one of their oil reclamation deals. It was recommended to me by Brian Ellis, who I now realize was getting a share of the deal. That individual really did not know much about this company but acted like they were extremely well vetted. My bad. The emphasis was constantly on the massive tax savings in year one. We got distributions for about a year and then it all stopped. Communication was extremely sporadic. Of course, when they were pitching the deal they talked about how amazing and proprietary their process was. Fact is, the sponsors at Flowtex made a lot of money and we didn’t. Beau Flowers is the owner. He never even gave an action plan to how we could get the well’s going again. Those of us who invested had to prod and prod him. I noticed that they are taking investments again. You can do a lot better.
