"Great Oil & Gas Sponsor!"
I invested with Gulf Coast Western via the recommendation of a well known CPA by the name of Tom Wheelwright. I was able to partake in an all expense paid oil and gas field trip with Gulf Coast Western to the oil fields in the DJ basin just outside of the Denver airport. I met alot of their team members and also other investors like myself and had a great time. The investment process was smooth and went well and I have already been receiving monthly distributions since July 2025. I invested 50k into a 7 well package (horizontal wells) and have been paid back a little over 12k in distributions for a 24% return on investment in about 6 months so I am very happy thus far. If this continues, annualized performance will be close to 50% in the first 12 months of production and that's with somewhat modest commodity prices. One area they could improve upon is more regular communication such as a regular newsletter, drilling & production updates, industry trends, etc. After investing, the only regular communication is the monthly statement that I receive. Otherwise, great oil and gas sponsor and that's why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 due to somewhat lackluster communication.
