Break of Day Capital offers passive real estate investments for both accredited and sophisticated investors so you can avoid the hassles, risks, and time commitment associated with becoming a landlord. We do all the heavy lifting so you can focus on living your best life! We focus on acquiring underperforming multifamily properties in high growth markets in the Southwest by implementing strong repositioning strategies to maximize value for all stakeholders. Our mission is to provide passive investors with superior risk adjusted returns with the highest level of transparency and fiduciary responsibility while improving the quality of life and community for our residents.
I’ve invested in five deals with Break of Day Capital, and my experience has been consistently positive, especially when it comes to communication and alignment. Not every deal has performed exactly as projected, which is part of real estate investing. What stands out, though, is how candid and transparent the team has been through both the wins and the challenges. They communicate clearly, share updates regularly, and don’t shy away from addressing issues head-on. What really gives me confidence is their willingness to step in and allocate their own capital when needed to help a deal perform and protect investors. That level of alignment is rare and speaks volumes about how they operate. Most recently, we’ve been receiving consistent distributions from our latest investment, which reinforces my trust in their execution and long-term approach. Overall, Break of Day Capital has proven to be a sponsor that prioritizes transparency, investor alignment, and disciplined decision-making, qualities that matter far more than perfect projections.
I’m a verified investor in 2 separate BODC properties and have been extremely pleased with the entire experience. The team at Break of Day Capital provide clear, timely updates through their excellent emails, webinars and portal, making it easy to track performance without any of the usual headaches of real estate. They focus on high-quality value-add multifamily deals in strong Southwest markets (mine are in Tucson) with a genuine emphasis on workforce housing impact — all while co-investing alongside their limited partners. The communication, reporting, and overall professionalism have been outstanding. This is exactly how passive multifamily investing should be done. Highly recommend Break of Day Capital to any accredited investor looking for a trusted sponsor in the multifamily space.
Entire team has provided excellent guidance and communication. Personal tours of the properties provided added assurance that the investments were not overly optimistic.
Good experience investing with Break of Day Capital. Returns were on time and as expected and lots of communication with the team. I like that the founder has a podcast because it makes me feel like my money is safer because he's staying on his game. I would recommend investing with BoDC.
