The Criterion Fund is a real estate investment company focused on buying and adding value to community shopping centers in secondary markets across the country. We target centers with below-market rents, deferred maintenance, and other value-added opportunities we can use to create great value for our investors. In addition, we also participate in single-tenant net lease construction projects and sale leasebacks of assets in arbitrage opportunities. We look to remain nimble and opportunistic in the dynamic retail real estate market.
I have invested in two Criterion CRE offerings both of which have gone full cycle. They have exceeded my expectations. I have met the partners in person in their office and they are experienced professionals. They publish regular updates and provide timely K1s which is important to my CPA and I. I am looking to invest in another Criterion deal as I prefer CRE with a good sponsor over the stock market.

I am a pretty active real estate investor whose been involved in over 80+ deals across 45+ different sponsors. I met Andy when he was working for another firm and decided to give Criterion a chance after having a really good conversation with him shortly after he joined Criterion. I started investing with Criterion in July 2024 and have had two deals already go full cycle that achieved very respectable IRRs in a short time period.
