I have been investing with CSC since 2019. I have invested in 9 deals with them. (3 of them full cycle with IRRs ranging from 8-15%) While distributions are on hold given this current climate, they have never asked for a capital call and have actually funded all shortfalls themselves. The only reason I know this is that their K-1s show bad debt write-offs attributed to us LPs as income. They play in the 1970's and 1980's value add vintage in secondary and tertiary markets in the west and southwest. They specialize in leveraging long term relationships with brokers to acquire distressed assets, some of whom they have had their eye on for years. Quarterly updates are like clockwork they are responsive in their communication. K-1s are generally late so extensions needed. Out of the 20+ sponsors/GPs I have invested in, they are in the top 3. Highly recommend.
