Greenlaw Partners Overview
Our name, "Greenlaw," honors Founder Wil Smith's grandfather, Greenlaw Grupe, Sr., a pioneer and innovator in California real estate development in the mid-1900s. We are proud to continue his legacy of entrepreneurship and leadership today.
This hay barn was built in the late 1800s to serve a working cattle ranch located outside of Linden, California. In 1942, Greenlaw Grupe Sr. purchased the ranch and barn. The land was used by three generations of the family as a working cattle ranch, which also included a walnut orchard and row crops. When the barn was no longer safe for use, Wil had the barn dismantled and the wood was stored. Today, this wood lines the walls of Greenlaw's corporate headquarters, and serves as a testament to the family history, professional work environment and cohesive culture that Greenlaw upholds as an organization.
