"Competent sponsor "
I'm in 2 investments with this group. The first one has been a success and they bought at a favorable basis and I've gotten most of my invested capital back + dividends ongoing (no exit / recap yet). For the second, they bought closer to the market peak/top and so that one has not gone as well due to floating rate debt (distributions paused for 2-3 years now). The sponsors seem fairly capable, though, and so I am hoping that I will not lose any or much capital/equity when they sell the asset (TBD...)
