We’ve invested in a few deals with Cherry and while she’s responsive and a good communicator, her judgment in choosing sound investments and co-GPs has proven abysmal. We lost all capital on two deals with her—six figures that would have been millions if we had even received our initial capital back to invest elsewhere. As physicians as well, this represents significant hours of work for us and a real loss. Her deals were inaccurately vetted and too risky with variable debt when it shouldn’t have been. Look for a different partner.
