Aloha Capital

We invested in 2023 for a short term loan that was meant to mature in 2024. Within a couple of months of funding, it stopped paying monthly distribution and the property soon went south. We received sporadic updates from Aloha since then, but nothing substantive has verifiably progressed. They’d forecast a sale and substantial if not full capital repayment to investors in 2025. Now fast forward to over a year later, absolutely nothing has taken place. Every month there’s a brief email update saying there are more and more code violations that need to be addressed and inspections that need to be passed. They’d planned a sale at market value multiple times, yet it never happened. Somehow every time new issues always pop up. No verifiable documents or photos have ever been shared. I’ve tried to reach out multiple times yet have so far been ghosted. Now we’re starting to question whether this whole deal (and sponsor) is a giant scam.
